This is sounding much better. Good drumming and guitar fills. I like the balance in the horns- you guys could play out a little more in the third verse.
I think the drums are still un-inspired. I posted earlier but I came back and it doesn't seem to be here. I also think I could stand to be louder over all and balance out the section.
This is the song I talked about it class. It has a similar feel, a little more funky. You all know how I love me some funk. It's called "Happy Dayz" and it's by Devin Thompson. Please let me know what you think in class guys. We could write in larger horn parts, but I think they stand pretty well on their own.
Yeah I screwed up the ending... I didn't know he was dragging out the last line and I thought it was gunna get empty so I just went ahead. My bad... and other than the snare rattle, I think the drums are great. They aren't to big and its not to robotic, its a sweet balance.
Can we fix the snare drum so that it doesn't rattle in the first verse?
