Monday 2/13

Please please please review all of your melody parts! Just because we haven't played a tune in a while doesn't mean you get to forget how it goes. We can't possibly play every song in it's entirety in class every class session so the burden of keeping these songs fresh falls on your own shoulders. That's what set lists are for- review the songs on the list on your own.

That said, we'll do a set up for the gig and some rehearsal at the First Congregational Church at 3:00. It's the big stone church across from the St. Agnes School at 415 Main Street in Dalton.

Set list for Saturday, February 18

Our rehearsal went well today. Here are my observations:
1. New ending to Nutville is good. We need to bring Dom and Chris up to speed on how we are ending it, and Catherine needs to work on the bridge.
2. Steady the tempo in Shuffle in F
3. Review the melody to Caliente Blues
4. Put Prince Charming back into the set.

This is sounding much better. Good drumming and guitar fills. I like the balance in the horns- you guys could play out a little more in the third verse.
